PRELIM - Flat Plan


My flat plan looks very simple as it does not have a lot of designs on it. I am intending on making my magazine look simple like an average magazine cover. My model will be sitting and her head will cover a small part of the masthead. I will add a graphic to make my magazine stand out to my reader and my cover lines will be short and simple for the reader to quickly read and understand what my magazine is about within a few seconds. My model will take up the space of the whole magazine so the outfit of the model can be seen and that will also give the reader a hint of what sort of fashion my reader would be looking at. At the lower part of the magazine, I will ave the name of my model and a pull quote that will also be attractive to my reader

PRELIM - Introduction and Initial Ideas

Hi, my name is Anita and welcome to my blog. This blog will consist of my work during GCSE Media Studies. We are currently studying magazines and our brief is to design a magazine front cover and a contents page about fashion for 14-18 years. I have been given the chance to create this from my choice which will feature items and information from my own perspective. I am very excited to start creating the front cover and contents page as I could be able to relate to it since it is a fashion magazine. I am hoping to go into deeper research with my work and can understand the different views of fashion that people have.
